ivsEdits doesn't support .avi and .mp4 (I didn't test others).

Hello Forum,

I installed ivsEdits because it looked great. After i installed it I created a new project and tried to Import Movie Files. There was a Problem:

/!\ Invalid Format File                                                                             _ X

C:\Users\"Username"\"Filename"

Cannot be added to the current repository. It could be unsupported or invalid.

                                                                                                      <OK>

I have Windows 10 and an AMD A10.

Re: ivsEdits doesn't support .avi and .mp4 (I didn't test others).

Hello David,

thank you for the "looked great" :-) Here is the list of supported files http://www.ivsedits.com/default/compare.aspx

I confirm that AVI are supported but be aware that AVI is a container so the support depends from the CODEC https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Audio_Video_Interleave

If your files are not supported, many other users convert their files with free tools before using them with ivsEdits.

About your system, it may work, but please be aware that it isn't on our list of suggested ones, and we never tested ivsEdits with AMD A10.

Here is the page of suggested systems http://www.ivsedits.com/default/system-requirements.aspx . There will be many more systems soon, but not the A10.

Happy Editing :-)

Paolo
