Final Video Output too Fast or Slow

Hello, I'm trying to output a video but whenever the video is completed the video is too fast or slow and doesn't stay in sync with the audio. I've tried several different settings during output, but I cant get it to stay how it should be when I render as an AVI file. My project is running at 1920x1080 at 30fps.

Re: Final Video Output too Fast or Slow

hi

I have the same problem. I'm trying to concatenate three avi video files to the one with ivs 5.0.67 on windows 8.1

All three part of the video has 1920*1080 resolution. I've downsized video output to Generic rendering device and HDmode 1280*720 30fps progressive

In the ivs preview result video preview has 1:48 length. However the result video that was created with Export to DV (Avi) 1920*780

I can see that first part of video file is renderred to the output correctly, video playing speed is the same as in the original video. However second and third video files is played in the output file faster then original one.

Is it possible to keep source video playing speed for all three parts?

Re: Final Video Output too Fast or Slow

in my case this happens only for Export AVI DV v1.3.402 (A/V) Encoder settings is set to HD720 check box. When HD720 is set out file length is 1:05 but should be 1:48 and second and third video parts are played faster then it should be.

All others (DV25, DV50, DV1080) settings produces result out file the same length as it should be

Re: Final Video Output too Fast or Slow

Hi oleksa,

i'd like to try to help you.
Have all source videos the same frame rate?  have the source clips the same frame rate of the project? What is the framerate of the project?

best regards

Roberto

Re: Final Video Output too Fast or Slow

Generally the video project setting for typical NTSC rates have to be 29.97 or 59.94 depending the source clips or it is absolutely usual to get sync/speed iussues using projects settings with 30/60 rates. The 30/60 rates should be used exclusively to create graphic animations or any content PC generated to be run in all PC/MAC/linux enviroments for applications like MS Powerpoint and to be sure to get  always a smooth motion. The Dv Encoder is targeted to encode video and could support only 23.976/25/29.97/50/59.94 project rates.
