Problem with instalation

Hi!
I have a problem with ivsEdits instalation. Every time I try to install it, there is a pop-up with error (Cannot create the following file C:\Windows\system32\msvrc80.$$A).

Anybody had such problem? Did you found the solution?

Re: Problem with instalation

The MSVCR80.dll is a Microsoft dll. It should be a minor problem because you get this message because the MFC add-ons are already installed and the Microsoft sub-Installer for these components is not able to replace the older one dll. It can means your OS installation is corrupted because normally these dll are replaced without any issue. Anyway if you not get crashes due MFC dlls with ivsEdits and others software based on MFC framework you can ignore this problem.

Best regards

Re: Problem with instalation

I'd would have been nice if the download for this software was via a ZIP file download, instead of a .exe getting executed the seccond you click "download"...

My browser prevents executables from being executed as www.website.com/virus.exe, for you cant realley scan the content this way, besides the fact my browser also warns me, thad any personal information i put into this website can be stolen and looked at by 3rd partys, i think i made a good call making a dummy google account to register to this website... Your methods don't realley inspire a safe feeling...

just login to google, and search "is ivsedits safe to download?", and you get "This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software."... This is a real shame, for i just needed a basic video editing program...
